BuildingConnected
Autodesk's bid network. GCs send invitations to bid and level the returns; subcontractors receive invitations and manage bids from a bid board.
What sets it apart
Priced by who sends the invitation. GCs fund the platform on custom quotes while subcontractors can respond for free, so it is the default for subs chasing large GCs and a poor fit for a small GC that sends a handful of invitations a year. Prequalification and financial-risk data (TradeTapp) are built in, which is the feature to compare against Procore and SmartBid.
Pricing and who pays
Who pays: GC pays; subs respond free (Bid Board Pro is a paid upgrade)
